Need sleep?

The body loves nothing more than to awake well rested so that you can enjoy doing what you love to do.

But if once in a while you don’t get a good night’s sleep, and desperately need a “power surge,” this posture will give you the energy boost you are looking for.   When practiced regularly it balances the serotonin and melatonin levels in your brain.

Getting into Ardha Kurmasana position, it’s important to first sit up straight and tall with your arms stretched above your head, and hands in prayer position.  Using your core strength, bend forward from the waist, gradually lowering your forehead to the mat. Your arms remain actively stretched out in front of you keeping your elbows off the mat.

Focus on relaxed breathing. Remain in the   Posture for 20-30 secs
