Getting into Ardha Kurmasana position, it’s important to first sit up straight and tall with your arms stretched above your head, and hands in prayer position. Using your core strength, bend forward from the waist, gradually lowering your forehead to the mat. Your arms remain actively stretched out in front of you keeping your elbows off the mat.
